Finally set-up a photobucket account, so I guess I'll start with this.

Show us yours!
Here's my entry - try & top (or bottom) this;

That was supposed to be a temporary set-up but it's going on 2 years now embarrassed
Determined to build a proper plinth in 2013!
Please don't pre-judge my build skills based on that armpod laugh laugh that was supposed to be a quick, even less than temporary, comparison test.
Since the pics were taken I removed the original arm and just yesterday I took off the Rabco (needs a tear-down & re-build, again).

I had one that was much, much, much worse. It wasn't a Lenco, however. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your politics, it isn't around anymore.

Lets not be so harsh.
Lets just say this deck sounds so fantastic that there was little/no motivation for you to do anything lest it lost it's mojo.... wink

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say, so, I would venture that there's no such thing as an truly ugly Lenco;  someone somewhere will love it, no matter how off-putting the external appearance may be Roll Eyes

Geez man, it's got 3 arms, so I think it's beautiful.

Well, ok, that front tonearm mount is a bit "rustic".   laugh

But if we say "alla rustica" it suddenly sounds all Italian and authentic! I can smell the olive groves and hear the pasta boiling already grin

rustic LOL
Add the Frankenstein sitting on the back.
And the original arm's design is a bit like something from the movie Brazil.
Or is it vice-versa?

Asides from the arms, you can't see the bubbling paint on the top-plate and the faded lettering.
No cover, on the floor - it's a dust magnet.

C'mon - where's the competition?

Looks lovely. grin

Does the cartridge on the Rega arm hum when playing a record? It appears that it'll track directly over the motor.

Graham, it ends up near the motor, but not over it. No hum. Maybe the double platter helps though.

Sorry Steve, since you gave your L75 a make-over you've lost all your Straße-cred wink
