I have two GL 75 turntables. One of them I bought from new in the 70's and this is a re-badged Leak Delta model. I have the original manual that came with it and would be willing to post it on the forum but do not know how. I have copied it into PDF form and it amounts to 17 pages. It is in English French and German, so could be useful to read. I would be interested to know how this conforms to the original manuals from Goldring Lenco.
This was the same H.J. Leak & Co. who manufactured the Hi -Fi seperates.
This turntable was made in Italy. (were they just assembled in Italy or were parts made there?)
My other GL 75 is made in Switzerland.

Hi Mike,
I have got one of these GL75s too. Mine is a Leak Delta but it is clearly marked as made in Switzerland. Were they made in both locations I wonder?
Mine appears to be very similar to the standard GL75 except the clear plastic cover is simply wedged onto the back of the frame/carcass and there is no prop, nor are there any holes to take a prop.

I haven't had the turntable that long (approx. 1 year) so i am afraid I can offer no more than a comparison.

Hope this helps, if you would like me to look at the detail closely the please let me know.

Now that I have figured out how to post pictures, I will be adding one of the underside of the turntable later.
One piece is missing from the pickup arm and that is the plastic "C" shaped clip that carries a small piece of wire that supports the small anti skate weight.
If anyone knows where I can get one, I would be happy to know.
Mike.
