This must be! I don't see any other reason. ...Also the wood was cut by the hands of a virgin girl.

Hi Alexandro
The front panel of your controller looks very good. I would like to try to get a similar effect. if you would be so kind to share your ideas. Is it smoked glass.

Hello cyber, Yes, it is smoked glass (10mm), paint in black (matt) from the back side. Here are some pictures from the inside:

It certainly is different Ian - I like it. What a novel idea to use a CPU cooler, presumably on the amplifier ICs. May I ask what kind of case is that? Its original intended use? The original concepts presented in this thread never cease to surprise

I like the way it's so conservative and understated No, seriously, it's an amazing piece of work Ian, utterly original and fabulously executed. Congratulations!

Outstanding Sir! I guess it's what's known as a 'Statement Piece'. I love the heatpipe CPU cooler. There's many could learn a thing or two from this about the negative impact of heat on performance, right across the board. Beautiful in design and execution.

I doubt you will find a case like that that you can buy, its been designed and built by myself. Yes the PC cooler is fixed to copper plates that transfer heat dissipation from the amplifier chips.

Thanks for reply Ian, I found the original case build thread after I'd posted here and then realised you'd designed and made the case yourself.

Well... after seeing THAT, my tail goes between my legs a bit. well, we all feel like that, I think. My own efforts look particularly shoddy next to Ian's fantastic creation. What you should bear in mind, however, is that the very humblest NSC in a recycled case bought from ebay for a few pounds, will work exactly the same. (My own builds were in recycled cases bought for a few pounds, you understand, so it's really myself I am trying to convince here ) Anyway, looks like you're making good progress! Just one thing - and you probably have this in mnd anyway - it would be a good idea to provide some holes or slots for ventilation in the bottom panel, directly underneath the oscillator PCB.
