I just finished Nigel's controller so I thought I would post some pics, I have not put it into service yet but hopefully tomorrow will be the day.

Before I post a want ad for NSC can someone confirm that NSC built for US can control the speed on 50Hz motor's also?  I believe it does from everything that I have read so far but not 100% sure so asking here.

Thank You

Yes providing that it is built for a 50 hz motor, I built mine for that set up. 60 hz supply and 50 hz motor, works perfectly.

My Nigel Speed Controller is driving my Garrard 401 for about 2 years now and I wanted to show you my build.
I'm still unsure if I want a analogue or digital voltmeter on the front panel.
I wanted it to be looking very uncluttered and the small speed adjustments if needed can be done with the eddi currently disc.
I use only one voltage and switch speeds with the Garrard.

Regards Remco

I would say it looks fine, just as it is  grin

I think also!
And I never change the voltage, so who cares about it anyway smiling

Just finished mine today. Got it up and running without any problems.
I’m curious about the heatsink though... Might be a bit small.

For now running at 185v. Don’t know if that’s a healthy voltage but the motor is dead silent. After one side of an LP it’s warm to the touch but nothing abnormal. The Quads run hotter after a couple of hours.
