Thank you, guys!
i can't say everything works flawless but small changes i will do as routine during this year.

You seem to have a well equipped workshop !?   cool

Unfortunatelly, old lather dosn't operate for decades now and there is no way to repair it, so generally there are small electrical tools only except press drill and circular saw.

I originally planned my lenco for two arms and finally I’m nearby to finish the project
I wanted to have one unipivot arm and have got not completed (as a project) Audiocraft 300 mkii.
It’s a 9 inch arm with possibility to change the arm pipes.
The latter and more expensive versions like AC3000 and AC4000 are offered with such the pipes.
While I like the arm I wanted to have it bigger (ok, longer  angel ). Seeing how Roger (Rotsch) converted his Mayware to a longer version,
I stepped on this route.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the info whether arm pipes are interchangeable between different models
and at my own risk got two extra 9 inch pipes of AC3000 from Japan
If I only knew at that moment that they were indeed interchangeable, I would have got 4 or 5, they were pretty cheap then.

Got few different carbon fiber pipes too.
Longer arm needs a distant armboard.
I started with separated armpod and 16.5 inch pipe.  I got the remnants of a fishing rod and attached it to the original pipe.

It used to worked fine but I do not like the idea of the huge armpod in front of the table. So went for the armboard.

Then, I converted 9” pipes to 12.5” adding fiber tube.

It took me some trials and errors to cut the correct shell.
But finally the results: I have two 12.5” pipes (one is in a drawer) which accommodate two stereo cartridges.  Roll Eyes

As I like the idea to change VTA on a fly and old microscopic heavy duty stand was laying around, I thought why not.
Something like this, but Soviet

Through the wooden board I drilled the hole and adjusted a long steel stick with adjusted table on it.

upd. Werner's extra weights are on the way to me, so those unpleasunt extra weights (bolt with nuts) will be changed by masterpieces  smiley

Hi Andrey, nice idea with the microscope stand for VTA on the fly, and at the other end you can check the condition of the stylus on the fly too wink

seeing your "wink" i guess there is a kind of teasing here?  angel Sorry, doesn't work ("lost in translation"). you mean by changing VTA while plaing i may damage the stylus?
No, did it already few times and it works perfect.
Ok, may be you are right, the condition of the stylus is "OK!"
Also, moving adjusted table (which keeps the arm) along the horizontal rod let me easily align the correct stylus position. But that trick i wouldn't recommend "on a fly"

Changing VTA conveniently is a great feature, when swapping cartridges.  Nice work Andrey!  icon_thumright

thank you, Niclas
i'm still playing with different cartridges, so three pipes with possibility to change VTA is a great advantage.
btw, i saw your comments on comparing LL1941 vs "Le Prépré" for Ortofon SPU. Since some time has gone, are you still on the amplifier side?
Just curious as i need to get amplification via SUT or build that amplifier

Yes, I still use a solid state MC step-up.  It costs 1/100 of the Lundahls, but is way better in my opinion.  However, I am not using the Hiraga amplifier.  It turned out that it is really sensitive to RFI.  Despite lots of effort, I haven't been able to cure that problem fully.  So, I am using the Marcof clone instead (https://www.lencoheaven.net/forum/index.php?topic=29792.0).  Sounds great!  ropies_thumbsup

Not at all, Andrey - it was just a silly joke about using the actual microscope too.  Using the stand to change VTA on the fly is a genuinely good idea, I think.
