Well I did wonder where to put it police But thought in amplifiers would be best  undecided

I picked up my pair whilst in Japan, so quick easy delivery I will see if I can find a link but I don't think they do export but will check for you.

Very nicely done David, they look great. I do love that shade of green, I know it's Japanese but it reminds me of a fifties motor car, not entirely sure why, but it does.

I was only joking about the Shindo green...its in reality just a bog standard Hammond box off EBay but I thought it made a change from black or silver grin

British Racing Green was a bit darker and less blue  grin

I got mine from http://www.acoustic-dimension.com/
Cheaper than bringing them in from the USA via ebay. The strong £ helps as well at the moment.

Hey David,

great job – congratulations! Would you mind telling me (us) where the ground terminal is from?

Best,

I've been looking around with much success. Just wondering if anyone can tell me where these enclosures are sold. Thanks.

They are Hammond enclosures...should be pretty easy to find here’s an EBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Hammond-Diecast-Aluminium-Stompbox-Enclosure-Various-Colours/282057062837?hash=item41abe939b5:m:msRClnco7YzRt3I-jXmiXAw

But I’m sure you can find them closer to home

Great! Thanks. It's much easier to search with a part#.

Hi,

Nice builds all together, but how do they sound? What cartridge did you use, DENON 103, SPU, EMT or another?

Regards,

Niels

For the money I’m really happy with my HM-3 it certainly beats Altec 4722 and the Beyerdynamics that I had previously....used with a variety of SPU’s and Denon DL103 and sounds really good.

I have never heard the HM-7 so can’t comment on if it’s better.

The Japanese love SPU’s and 103’s so I am sure any Japanese transformer company would build their products to work with what the home market loves best
