Okay, despite what I've just said in my previous post (about not having much time now), I quickly reworked the Illustrator graphic to a more "CAD-like" version. I.e. without shadows & gradients and other Illustrator-specific embellishments, without fills, with all lines set to the same width, etcetera... and exported that as a DXF file.

ZIPped version is available here:
http://www.guyd2.com/Lenco/L75-inside_reference_CAD.dxf.zip

I can't really check if this is done properly, so please let me know if this is useable ?

cheers,
GUy

Thanks Guy. We have a public holiday today in the UK, but will check the DXF tomorrow when I get back to work.

Another BIG thank you!

Hi Guy,

Please to report that AutoCad opens it fine and it looks dimensionally accurate.

When I get a spare moment I'll neaten it up a bit (the export to DXF is not the prettiest!) and send it back to you in DXF and DWG.

Thanks again for this great work,

Tony.

{edited once more for several small typos in several filenames, and added bits to it...}

Per request, the same drawings, as seen from the top:

A. Editable PDF's (for Illustrator):

http://www.guyd2.com/Lenco/L75-inside_reference_top.pdf  (3.6MB)

http://www.guyd2.com/Lenco/L75-inside_top.pdf  (453KB)

B. Flat PDF's (much smaller in file size)

http://www.guyd2.com/Lenco/L75-inside_reference-top_flat.pdf  (1.8MB)

http://www.guyd2.com/Lenco/L75-inside_top_flat.pdf  (100KB)

Or, as a clever person in here pointed out, the whole directory listing:

http://www.guyd2.com/Lenco/

Perhaps this is of use to some...

cheers,

Guy, the 1st link you posted yesterday is still directing to the non-existant -top file not _top.
Thanks again.

Excellent v block replacement guide. Superb photos and very clear instructions.

Hope it all works out as easily for me when I pop some Desmo V blocks in my GL75 on Saturday!

Excellent work! Thanks a lot, guyd!
I am a newbie to Lenco, just got an old used Lenco 75 for a good price and I am wondering, if I can refurbrish it and maybe make my own plinth and mount another 12 inch tonearm to it...
Thanks again!

Hi,

If it is still available I wouldn't mind having the Illustrator file.

Thanks in advance,
Peter P
Brussels, Belgium

I don't.  grin
I tried both formats, exporting from Illustrator, and they both looked like crap; dxf being the worst offender -- really unusable.
It might just be because I'm inexperienced with true CAD illustration... and to be honest, I don't feel very inclined to walk that ehm, path.

Will an editable (Illustrator) PDF, or an AI file do ?
