Some Stable Platter Mechanism version have laserdiode cover lens coming loose (

It's plastic lens like cover that is on diode component, just plastic lens drops off and diode component it self stay in place. Plastic lens propably also
has some laser light access controlling (concentrating ?) feature as without it player did not find tracks.
