where i live there is no earth grounding, old house, there will however be a signal ground wire connected to the amp , but i have several lenco players(2x L70, 1x L75, 1x B52, 1xB55 and now the L75/S) in combination with pioneer SX770 and AR speakers, and never had a humming problem with them

Having no earth in a building is like having no seat belt in your car.  OK, you'll probably be fine but if anything were to go badly wrong... Don't forget that these Lenco motors are in some cases 50 years old and although they are well made their safety is also compromised by us amateurs messing around with them wink  It is a very nice looking tt you've got there though.

Hi,

A really nice looking turntable and I like the mains lead at the back, a good idea.

Looking great! What's that eye-like thing on the front panel? On/off switch? Light?
