Just arrived from VE Clan...
It's their new portable DAC/amp.

It was sold in a limited run with Monk Lite Silver for 16€
It may be put on sale again maybe.

Just a quick impression: the dac sounds smooth yet detailed, it is limited to 48kHz/16bit (so it downsamples higher res) and it's plug and play with linux!  cheesy

The Monk Lite Silver are simply great natural and musical as Monk+ but with better bass!

Loving the KZ ZS5 with Airlink foam tips,  well balanced, detailed with a good soundstage.

Ah well, I also got a pair of these KZ ZS5. My impressions are a bit mixed. Using them for TV sound they sound extremely sharp, almost hurting in the ear. At the moment they hang off the headphone jack of the PC, here they are a bit less sharp. But the upside-down wearing position with these wires is very fiddling.
Maybe such an extended high frequency range can also be too much...

Greetings,

Maybe I like them more because my high frequency hearing is limited to 10k?

Also received the KZ ZS10 today which sounds very promising out of the box.

I tend to only use IEMs for my phone and DAP.

Anyone else have problems with the buds staying in their ears? The only model that I've found that works for me are the Shure S4. They have a smaller barrel than any of the other IEMs I've tried and they actually stay put. With other models, I've started running the cord over and behind my ears to keep them seated. Changing tips is of no consequence if the barrels are large.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend something currently available in the S4 range that uses a smaller barrel.

Yeah but because my ear canals (especially right one) are large - I have found InAir memory foam tips (the largest ones) to be successful, Comply also OK but more expensive.

I'm the opposite. My canals are small, so the larger barrelled models fail to sit in my canal at all. I can feel the Shure S4s sit further in my canal, giving me a good seal and not dropping out when I'm moving around.

I use Periodic Audio buds and an Audioquest Cobalt Dragonfly. It's almost like going back to my hearing I had in my teens.
