Here are some pics of the Valab LCR1 from there eBay shop. Troels Gravesen has a great review on this beautiful phono stage. He says it's a bargain. Let's hope it is.

It was if Santa came today!! Wowsers!
I received the Groove Master mkII from Audio Creative with sliding base, silver wiring and ebony headshell. A new Idler wheel from Italy, some records and my laser cut top en back plates. That's a great way to start the weekend.

Nice work jeff and Welcome . You start with a clean voltage, well conceived.

All beautiful stuff and I love the platters! , success with your Lenco and success with creating your sound.

Cheers Henkes

Fitting the lasered parts. Happy it fits.

And doing a paint job on the beech plinth. It has four tinting layers and three matte lacquer layers. The wood grain is very beautiful I think. Ebelholz did a great job.

Thank you!  angel It’s my first build and my first turntable, so everything is new for me. What I read and seen here is way more sophisticated in my eyes. Great to know that there is a Lenco crowd who can help or give advice.

Luckily I have some “analog” friends to calibrate and debate my findings  grin only thing... they don’t build... there I am on my own. So lucky to be here and knowing the people from Audio Creative (I.e. Groove Master tonearm) for being great inspirators thru their blog/site.

Jeff

This is looking like a great build - really looking forward to seeing that beautiful Groovemaster tonearm mounted. I thought about one of these myself.
