I’ve been asked quite a few times if my arms can be used on type GL78 decks ..
So here is a customers deck finished today .
Nothing radical done to the deck just cleaned up , with a new PTFE pad fitted to the platter bearing along with a nice tight fitting rubber cap to stop any leakage of oil . The rear of the plinth has been machined out to allow the fitting of the AT lid , and a phono plate with earth post fitted to the rear , and to top it off one of Vladimir's Badges on the front ..that colour matches my arm ..
