Hello,
I´m new in this Forum and try to build an EAR 834p Clone with the Xuling PCB. I`ve read many threads about it. So, I create a Part list on myself. I hope my English is not too bad and you guys understand. I want to discuss the Part list. How good are the parts I’ve chosen and perhaps some parts maybe missing?

The black ones I`ve already ordered at mouser and hificollective
Thanks for helping me and have a grade Week!

If you made amp upgrade already why not to jump to Jessica's PSU1. It is pricey but highly stable . Look here  https://www.lencoheaven.net/forum/index.php?topic=27259.0

Hello Marek,

Thanks for your answer! But first I try it with the normal PSU.  azn
Do you have a working 834P Clone? Does it sound well or any background noises etc?

ALex. Yes I built Douk clone you can see it here https://www.lencoheaven.net/forum/index.php?topic=36502.0  long story but quite detailed. There are also many other threads about it. Just scroll and read. As I am currently upgrading it to Jessica's PSU and Thorsten RIAA ideas. I cannot say about my impressions also my Lenco is still under "manufacturing". Expected grande finale closer to New Year. But tube is tube and EAR Yoshino 834p is still in EAR portfolio since 90's it means 30 years old design it cannot be an average preamp. http://www.earyoshino.com/products/. With hum (brum) important as I learned is to keep grounding in star execution also discussed in this thread. Just scroll first post in bold look for latest versions of grounding to not copy this one with mistake. Page 4th or maybe this link if will work. https://i.imgur.com/JszJNxP.jpg

Hello,

here a little update:

The PSU Board is nearly finished. I have to wait till February... a few Part are actually out of stock.
What kind of Mostfet i need for the D10A/100V section left side of the Board, can somebody help me with this?

The Amp Board also makes progress... I want to use JJ Tubes (V1: E83CC V2&3 : ECC803 S). I used modeling clay to fix the Parts on the right place. In the picture it looks a little bit messy

The 100Ohm Resistor is an Allen & Bradly
For the Input i use the Kiwame 47k Resistors
But as with the PSU board, the remaining parts will not appear until February hopefully

Hello,

it's been a while. Now I nearly finished my EAR Project. Today i tested my PSU unloaded.

HV: 293V
Heater : 8,5 - 8,7V

But the HV diodes get a little bit hot after 1min. Is this normal? (about 50-55°C)

Here are some pics from the PSU and the Amp Unit.
