Hello,

I've been restoring a L70 I got my hands on. There is one last issue I am dealing with: the armlift is not working smoothly when moving the power switch from ON to OFF. So, it moves smoothly when I lower the arm (OFF to ON), but when I want to raise the arm, the on / off knob doesn't seem to move freely, and I have to use more force to actually move the swith to the OFF position ...

Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this?

Below's a photo of the underside of the deck.

Thanks for any advice!

Grts, Simon

Can’t help, but on doing a search I found this thread (there may well be more on this topic tucked away somewhere) - started by yourself I couldn’t help noticing.

The pictures seem to show more bits and pieces under the top plate, are you missing some parts on this deck?

Yes that was my thread  grin But, it was a different problem. But, I tried that solution anyway, but didn't solve my current problem. I don't think I am missing any pieces. I will investigate further tomorrow, and post more photos..

Thank you  smiley
