Hello all, have an L75 looking stock but modded to max running in my system. It sits alongside my PTP build and stock L-70 so I have other units to use while L-75 is out of commission.
At the moment we are running a rebuilt London Decca Intl. unipivot arm straight drop in to existing tonearm hole...DO NOT want to mess with deck for this arm exchange, have an Ortofon AS 212, Linn Basik Plus as possibles.
I'd be interested to know what else is out there as possible replacement, what you have done/are using in your L-75

 thanks for looking

The Jelco SA-250ST has the correct geometry for a GL75 but the mounting hole would need to be enlarged slightly.
It seems to be highly regarded, I bought one but never got round to fitting it as I couldn’t bring myself to do the surgery!
They can be found re-badged for Revolver on some of their turntables.
(I think there must be a few threads here already listing other drop-ins)

I have just fitted a Funk Firm FX5-L, and so far sounds very good.  I also have a Silver Note, but haven't yet tried it.  There are quite a few here who have.

Thanks  Bush, g8, Nord for taking time to chime in.
I had been quite happy with the Decca arm/ cart combo on L75 in the past, since before Christmas I only had one deck up and running, the PTP and L75 where waiting for set-up after changing out cartridges.
On the Decca arm I installed Decca blue that J.W. did up for me, this one had new conical stylus installed, tieback, potted, up to spec.
On PTP Grace arm installed Grace f9 with ruby cant.and FG stylus done up by Joseph  Kiss , when first received I ran it for couple hours, then went back to Stanton 881which i liked very much, then the L70 arrived, did some experimenting with Decca Blue on L70 arm where it worked quite well none of the issues I read about in the Decca thread ( yes I got through the whole dang thing  shocked) eventually I settled on the Pickering
XV15 625E for L 70.
Finally all 3 decks up and running...my oh my the grace Ruby has really started to show its stuff after about 40 hrs.
Did some serious comparisons over couple nights, found detail galore ,no mushiness in bass just clarity, with G ruby.
The L70 and L75 just couldn't keep up, now must state  L70 and PTP going through same phone stage and L75 into phono on deck, got to thinking better phonostage would help L75/Decca combo.
Hooked L75 up to a tube phono just back from my tech guy and what a difference, lots of detail, no fuzzy bottom end, full bodied sound...
The L75 with Decca arm is a keeper, I new there was good potential there but it was gone...IT'S BACK

If you want to run Decca cartridges on your stock L75 then the Decca London intl. arm is straight drop in, no messing around. Being a unipivot
I run it with the damping fluid...no chatter, no chirping,  not microphonic, from first cut to last , I'm flabbergasted...was ready to take deck to shop and try another tone arm.
Looks funky, sounds good, a keeper.
A few of the testers.. 60's....70's...newer and older

If you're willing to do tonearm surgery, you can fit many other arms by shortening (or lengthening) the effective tonearm length. For example, by sliding the tonearm pipe from its supporting yoke. This is possible in some tonearms!!

In my L75 i have a SME tonearm base installed longitudinally. Of course this requires surgery.
