It had been a long time since I had built something. Time is always very short, but the 'need' to build was strong.
Anyway, I had an old unused Rega P2 at home and lots of Michael Lim accessories, an acrylic platter and a Heed power supply ... and a friend with no turntable.

So, here is my new creature:

The idea was to make another turntable on carbon-fibre cantilevers, like my predecessor The Poor Man's Wilson Benesch Circle, as it had performed well.

At the same time, I needed to use all the accessories I had. I decided, therefore, to modify the design.

I had the carbon fibre (leftover from previous work), while I used aluminium knobs to support the cantilevers.

The 'actual' turntable is a sandwich of bamboo wood (Ikea cutting board) and aluminium composite (DiBond), plus the Michael Lim Top Metal Bracing.

Wow,
what a colour! But pretty sexy, the tone arm looks a bit sober. At least the pickup could be as red?
Are there any more pictures? How does it sound?

Best regards
