Shure m44-7 stylus on m70 cartridge

Does anyone known if n44-7 stylus fits on a m70 cartridge?

No. It won’t.

An M70 generator is the same as an M44, but the M70 generator is mounted at 15 degrees in the brown plastic mounting shell.

The M44 generator is mounted horizontally, no 15 degree angle.

The N44-7 stylus has a “J” shape to the cantilever for the horizontal mount. If you put that “J” shaped cantilever into the M70 body, you’ll have a wicked 30 degree angle on the stylus tip.

An N75 stylus will fit the M70 cartridge.

Just so you know: The generators of the M44/55 are identical to the M70, M91, M93, M75. The only difference is the 15 degree mounting angle added to the 70/75/91/93; they use a straight cantilever instead of the “J” cantilever of the M44/55.
