Shure, oh yes, a good cartridge. Only his scene is no deeper than a newspaper taped to the wall. I don’t understand why they are loved ?

Everything is clear to me here: noble restraint, the stage began to play with three-dimensional images, they are not deep, but they are present.

Two years ago I met Charisma Audio. The acquaintance began with the cartridge, which turned out to be their flagship model. Signature One was perfectly assembled, beyond all praise.

The reacquaintance took place quite recently. Good cartridge, sounds light and free. But the production quality leaves much to be desired. It’s strange to see budget reels for $2,000.

I have the F9 and love it. Had Joseph Long build a sapphire cantilever with FG 2. Now it's absolutely incredible.

Supex, from model 909 MK-2, began to shorten the magnetic circuit of the generator. The magnet is shorter by a third compared to models 900, 909.
Hi Dimitri, Beautiful pictures. What is the advantage of a smaller magnetic system? Kind regards, Niels

I don't claim to be the truth. Any opinions on the matter are welcome. Supex has traveled a long, winding path in search of sound. They were the first to place the magnet vertically, but time has shown that music lovers, with their preferences, vote for the “900” model. The body of 900 hides a generator assembled on a long magnet. I believe that the secret lies in the magnetic echo, the timings of which are the longest, which gives a pleasant after-sound. The fight against echo, for the reliability of the sound, was forced to make the magnetic circuit shorter and shorter (they drove the coils into the magnet), but other problems appeared, excessive magnetic damping. Perhaps the younger generation of music lovers will vote for damping. Still, I am glad that EMT, Denon, Ortofon, Sumiko continue the old traditions and assemble generators with long magnets.

Well, it’s a complete tracing paper, everything was copied except the sound.
