Made some progress today...

Idler arm is damped. SPH bearing waiting for instalation.

I had some trouble with SPH bearing. Id doesn't fit perfectly on my Lenco platter. So i had to use little tape on the lower part of spindle to snug fit the platter.

Earthing...

Installing arm and cartridge...

Kerock base will be decoupled with 3 delrin parts from lower base (that still needs to be done)

And first spin  headbang

That looks good! The platter is from Sien? With this construction you can experiment very well with different materials for the tonearm base...

With best regards

I only played half a side yesterday, just to check how it spins. To early to tell about sound, but what i heard is really promising...
Its now sitting on just temp base, in next days i will finish that as well.

I heard some noise from motor, so i will service it. Then ill try again...

I made platter out of aluminum, almost same like Sien's, slightly different dimensions to fit my TT.

About tonearm base, yes, that was the plan

Thanks

You use quite thick cables to connect to the motor.  It is possible that they transfer noise to the plinth.  You could try using thinner and more flexible cables.  Of course the cables should be rated for the voltage.  For wiring internally in a piece of equipment, you can use quite thin cables.
