Bokrand's advertising has become just about the only traffic on a Garrard 301 group on Facebook, where he is posting photos of his various tonearms. It seems okay with the group moderators.

I'm happy for you that after many sleepless nights and problems with the seller you finally got the tonearm you ordered and paid for a long time ago.

But I still have a problem with threads like this. There are lots of other people who haven't had the same luck so far and so your delivery is just an exception for now. But the independent thread gives the impression that everything is all sunshine and roses, which is just not true. There should always be a warning to do business with this seller

That's your opinion Rolf and I don't disagree. There is plenty of info out there that interested parties can find easily enough.

Personally I'm not interested in berating Alfred further. I've written some very scathing remarks and personally told Alfred how I feel about his business practices.

While I was waiting and wondering I found it reassuring and encouraging to hear that others were getting arms or getting refunds.

I think I'm leaving it that.

I just wanted to let people know that Alfred came through and I received my tonearm this morning.

Phew! I found this process difficult but I'm not going to go on about.

BIG THANKS to all you folks that offered a bit of support, I really appreciated it.

It'll be a couple of days before I set it up though.

Hi Billy,

Glad you can finally enjoy the new toy.

All he has to do is stop taking money upfront.  Audio guys are the most reliable customers in the world.  I've made horns in a small way for 20 years on 'pay when finished' basis and nobody let me down.
