Good work my friend. It looks like you have gone for a fixed cartridge position? What's the geometry - effective length, overhang, offset, loftgren/baerwald/stevenson? And have you worked out the effective mass?



Hey Malc

I made 4 of these arms so by the end I was confident to use a fixed cartridge position. There is a bit of wiggle room with 3.2mm holes.

I used this protractor filling in spindle to pivot distance:



Effective mass, but not sure how accurate this is as resonance seems 7hz for all the arms I tried, and the ATOC9 quotes compliance differently.
