Hi,
Japanese manufacturer of the VIV TA brand uses 3 O Rings to damp their wand and they have also CF wand. Perhaps something to be considered when inner filling increase the unwanted TA mass.

Hi Adelmo,
maybe they measured something that justifies this. I have read that the shorter arm sounds much better than the longer versions, perhaps because of the resonance issues of the CF.
The bearing on the vivid labs tonearm is very damping. So you can assume that on the one hand there are few reflected vibrations or bearing chatter, but on the other hand there is no ‘grounding’ of vibrations via the bearings.
Best regards
Arndt
