Dear LL, It finally happend..........I started with my first project! A L70 in mint condition  ! The only problem was, that my wife didn't approve of the color  ! So I gave the L70 a new coat of paint;  The next step was putting the parts back on the topplate  !  Now I am going to make the plint, this will be made out of walnut. Drilling a whole for the spring tweak and replaceing the idler wheel for a metal one! I have only two problems, I still don't have a name for this project  and I dont know what to do with the color of the platter! white or something else???? Any ideas!!! Xander. ps. Does anybody know where I can get a strobe to tweak me rpm's |

That looks really elegant and why not paint the platter black in contrast?
What kind of strobe do you need?
The small metal one or any kind?
