Dear LL,

It finally happend..........I started with my first project!
A L70 in mint condition grin!
The only problem was, that my wife didn't approve of the color huh!

So I gave the L70 a new coat of paint;

The next step was putting the parts back on the topplate smiley!

Now I am going to make the plint, this will be made out of walnut.
Drilling a whole for the spring tweak and replaceing the idler wheel for a metal one!

I have only two problems, I still don't have a name for this project cry and
I dont know what to do with the color of the platter! white or something else????

Any ideas!!!

Xander.

ps.
Does anybody know where I can get a strobe to tweak me rpm's

That looks really elegant and why not paint the platter black in contrast?
What kind of strobe do you need?
The small metal one or any kind?
Cheers

Hi Chris,

A metal one would be nice smiley, but in my case any strobe will do wink!

I'm not so sure about the colour but it's your deck.  Call it Lenco juglans  if it's going on a walnut plinth wink

Come on, Ian.
At least it´s not brown and you´re not Malcolm cheesy
Anyway, I think it looks way better than my greyish 70.
