Welcome back. the man, the myth, the legend  smiley
Hi, we have never had the pleasure.
I would be curious if there is anything new about your Lenco or other projects.
It would also be nice to have a new initiative for a meetup, since the BAM is foreseeably not happening.
Some prestige and leadership could help!

With best regards

Arndt

Here are the latest information from Elessetronica ( 6/1/24 ) :

I have read the information about the meeting scheduled for next July, I will not be personally present, but I would like to promptly send you a dc motor kit to try together with the enthusiasts, with the special version of the Hitachi which integrates tachometric dynamo and flywheel on the same axis at the rear, it should be the best ever, it's a shame that there aren't any other units other than the only two I've found on the entire globe.
I am preparing (with a lot of composure) a "rim drive" circumferential plate transport unit for an English friend who convinced me to replicate a system already built many years ago but never replicated before.
the system is housed in a cylinder together with the pulley which transfers the motion to the platter towards the external circumference and the prerogative is to be compatible with any type of turntable, it is sufficient that the platter has the possibility of receiving contact with the pulley and the game is done.

the support for the idler is made of phenolic resin and is positioned annularly around the DC motor, thus rotating around it,the end will be mobile with spring preload on the sliding rods

the dc motor has a pulley for transporting the idler wheel, but integrates the housing for the flywheel which will above the idler wheel

we chose the Audio Creative idler wheel, which is a bit expensive,
but seems to have been made with good precision

if in addition to being beautiful to look at, it also works, we're good to go!
I send you a big hug and best wishes for the new year!
to hear from us soon Francesco
